From Practitioner to System Architect
Dr. Fitzpatrick’s mission is to replace instructional fragmentation with coherence at scale.
The Designer’s Perspective
For over a two and a half decades, Dr. Fitzpatrick has served as a leader in public education, witnessing firsthand the toll that "initiative fatigue" takes on teachers and students. The problem in modern schooling isn't a lack of effort or a lack of research—it is a lack of coherence.
As the designer of the Inedvation System™, Dr. Fitzpatrick has moved beyond traditional consulting to build instructional infrastructure. This work is focused on creating the architectural bridge between high-level research (such as the Science of Reading and Mathematical reasoning) and the daily, practical reality of the classroom.
As the founder of InEDvation, Dr. Fitzpatrick brings a data-driven, research-backed approach to MTSS implementation, instructional coaching, and leadership development. His work bridges the gap between theory and practice, helping educators apply high-effect-size instructional strategies, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence to create learning environments where all students thrive.
Built for Scale, Designed for Coherence
The Inedvation philosophy is built on the principle that instruction improves when coherence replaces accumulation. Rather than asking districts to adopt more programs, Dr. Fitzpatrick helps leadership teams organize what already works into a unified, developmental architecture.
This approach ensures that every instructional move—from Tier 1 core instruction to Tier 3 intervention—is vertically aligned and instructionally explicit.
System-Building at the District Level
Dr. Fitzpatrick’s work is grounded in the practical complexities of district leadership. By focusing on scale and sustainability, Inedvation systems are currently used to:
Align Curriculum & Assessment: Creating a single, shared language for instruction across grade levels.
Support Teachers: Providing digital libraries that offer immediate, phase-based strategies rather than generic professional development.
Reduce Fatigue: Streamlining multiple initiatives into one unified instructional engine.
